Was curious who has a foam pit in their yard? I am ready to start tricking it but would rather skip the many possible broken bones that come with learning.

beware of used foam! i didn't want to land in a pit of foam covered in...well, we all know what can get on a couch or any other type of used coushion. also check for uv damage esspecially in az...the foam turns to dust very quickly once the process starts. again a good foam pit takes time, a good friend and a little money. if you plan on using it for a season then letting the wind blow it away then go for free and star dumpster diving for old couches, apholstry shops, craigs and so on. if you are serious about learning tricks they will come rapidly with a foam pit.

Sounds like a blast, Clockwork i know the season is wrong but a good lake /salt river jump would do ok. They do it at Bartlett lake. That would be sweet if you could put one in the PIt but that would be manmade materials on their land.

Hmm, Bartlett eh? What part of the lake do people set up at? Curious cause we built one last summer and took it to Lake Pleasant which was not a good choice of lakes to jump at. The lake bottom was too shallow near the shore in most places and the shore itself is really rocky.airmiller44 said:

The balls would be the best and cleanest option IMO . The lumber and the rest is easy as I have lots of plywood and 2x4's around just need to see if I have room and if I do I will have to level the pump track. Kids are already excited.
Bob that video is the exact reason I want a pit still alot of room for injury with that ghetto setup.

wont the balls crush tho ? ill bet way more than 1500 are needed cost aside i would think they would crush. what about just jumping into a blow up castle or a blow up castle filled with like 5 thousand balls lol then you have a 2fer you can use it and the kids can. and yeah i bet the bugs would love foam, along with packrats
I would say packing peanuts also but those would prob be a mess and blow all over the place

Regular jump around would punture too easily but might be able to modify or put a few heavy duty tarps over.
