Hi, rode a medium EMD. Felt like I had a ton of seatpost showing. I'm thinking about going with a large. My legs are longer and have a shorter torso. I have a Vassago in a medium which is closer in size to a large Niner. Anybody have the same problem.
thanks

Hi I'm 6ft & ride a Large Jet9 & know this is the right size for me & find I'm not as fast on a Med frame,I ride with my seat higher than most people my height 770mm or 30.3 inches form the centre of the cranks to the top of the seat inline with the seat post.

I have owned 3 med & 5 Lge MTB's in the last year so I know for sure what suits me Large feels great for me.

I'm 6'0, 34 in inseam, and have a large EMD. I was worried when I got it so I called my friend who is a Niner dealer in another state he said ''are you kidding, I ride a large and I'm 5'10 with 34 inseam'' My large rides just perfect.

I'm almost 6' but ride with the top of my seat 32" above the center of the bb, that means I have long legs and a short torso. I am completely happy with the fit of my large Rip9 with either a 70 or 90mm stem. I don't like long stems, do you?

Same here. I ride Medium One9 and I'm 178cm. Fits fine, enough TT space with 90mm stem and straight Thomson post. This is one stiff mother, eee, lover. I also have Large 08' RFX and 19'' Kona Hei-Hei.

I'm 5'11 and was having the same issue with my medium. Finally broke down and bought a large replacement. I had a ton of seatpost showing on a 410 thomson on the medium, i had to be just past the max line to get the leg extension I wanted.

I am 5'11 and I always rode a 18" bike so when I went to buy my niner through the web site (when they sold them that way) that equated to a medium. I rode it for a month. I felt that I could not get comfortable even when changing stems and set back on it so I went to a shop that sold Niners and they sized me to a large. It has been riding bliss ever since. I ended up selling the medium and bought the large through the shop. Never underestimate the value of a good LBS
