Yeah, so it's fun to get people worked up. Here's my 08' Highline. It is the best Highline I've ever seen. Oh yeah, and it rides pretty well too!

Here's the lowdown:

08' Medium Frame
Marz 66RC3 2008-1/2 with new lowers/bushings
Wheels- DT Swiss FR6.1 with King hubs
XO Shifters/Rear Der./990 Cassette/991 Chain
Gravity Light Crankset/BB w/ Gamut P20 bashguard
E13 DRS Chainguide
Pushed DHX 5.0 with Obtainium 350lb titanium spring
Avid Juicy 7s with Goodridge brake hoses front and rear and Twenty6 levers
Easton Monkeylite DH Carbon Bars (stickered up with Turner stickers of course!)
Thomson x4 stem (50mm)
Sunline Half-Waffle grips (thin) w/ Twenty6 Gascaps bar-ends
Syntace Superlock Seat QR
Thomson Seatpost
WTB Devo w/ti rails
King Devolution Headset
Schwalbe Big Betty 2.4"s
Twenty6 Rallye Ti Pedals (Urban Camo color) w/ some aluminum pins used
Maxle Rear Axle
MTBti bolts everywhere (hell, why not)
Weight- just under 38lbs

This bike does everything well. I've been healing for months and have nothing but time to finish my build. I'm done (oh yeah, except King BB some time down the road).

I went on a mellow cruiser ride. The bones are healed up, but I'm going to keep things low impact for a few months until everything is feeling back to normal, 100% (I guess 90% is close enough).

She' right up there on the bling meter, not sure if thats a good thing on a Highline or not, still its a great build either way!

Maybe Formula F1s and ya would have convinced the blingilingers to give it 5stars:D

Def no carbon on a freeride bike for me, bu everyone to there own even if not hucking how about some Dirte 30s!

Nice stuff Noshirt keep us updated with picc;s and ride reviews, long term reports o the 66s, I'm liking the grey versions of 09!

Anyway a BaddAss HL for sure add it to the database
I give ya back the other star for the Turner stickers on the bars, that's custom :D

Deft eye towards fashion with the white Goodridge lines up front and the red lines in the rear.

If you have any $ left over from your honeymoon, don't buy that extra serving bowl your wife is ogling, get a pair of Formulas or the new Elixirs to cap off the bling. :p

...but I love my Juicy 7s and carbon bars! I'm only 140lbs, so I've got enough braking power. Formulas are very nice though. Maybe the only brakes that would make me want to replace when the time comes.

Yeah, I'd ditch my rotors in a second if anyone can recommend something that is 1) lighter, 2) at least as strong, 3) does not require some kind of modification to make it fit with my brakes.

To answer one of the other questions, yes, my rear shock is Pushed, no my fork is not (don't know if PUSH messes with this fork).

Crimson- I don't have the plugin required to watch whatever you posted, bummer. So I don't know how to answer your question about what the 5 fingers are saying or whatever. I'll work on it.

Sweet rig mang!!!
I like the look of the 66 on that setup.

Hey, how is your CK rear hub lining up? Could you post a driveside cassette/dropout shot? Mine seems to have a bit more offset than I expected.

Nothing wrong with quality carbon bars IMO.
I am sure you could have found one more cable/housing/line color - and you like em long - some trim needed hey...:nono: ;)
Sweet bike, and, the classic 4(faux)-bar lines show so well in your build.

Hmmmm, I have King hubs on my shopping list, but now I am worried.

Gotta say I like the look of that. I like the cable colors against the frame. Top notch specs.

But...

In order to take the 1st place:

1. Juicy Carbon or Ultimates are the only allowed "Jucies" - not plain ol' Sevens :D
2. Remove the stickers immediately.

On a serious note, how are you liking that spring. I am contemplating a new Ti spring for my Highline.

I think carbon bars on a bigger bike are perfectly fine. I ran the Easton Monkeylite DH bars on my Nomad, then switched them over to my Blindside. Over a year of riding, mainly shuttle/bike park, and I'm sitting at just over 200#..... No problems

Anyway, like others have said, strip the Marz stickers, much more cleaner look!
