Saw one of those today in real life. The owner claimed he just climed Towers Road (Fort Collins, HTMP) in 25 min! Accelleration of that thing is unbelievable. The rider gave us a short demo.

From now on: Take a look at the frame when somebody passes you without effort. This thing proves its all about the bike. Spend more money and you ride faster. (Costs a little under $9000 MSRP - www.optibike.com)

This thing could also take all the fire out of APEX discussions. Here comes a really heavy bike you can pedal up. :D

In case you wonder what this got to do with the Font Range... First I saw one on our trails. Second: Optibike is a Boulder company. Bo Co, right?

Not sure what to make of that though. I can buy a nice (non-BMW) dual sport to commute on for less than half of that kind o'money... It is motorized travel and I'd like to think it wouldn't be allowed on "bike" trails but "legally" speaking, I wonder where it falls?

Neat find though, thanks!!!

Shoot, for that Kind of money your well on your way to a new Beemer. You could also pick up a slightly used S or ST for around 9 G's and not look like a total tool.

non relevant but the owner of that claimed that it is going to help him get back into shape.....how? is my question.
