I've got a new Stinky. It's got a Vanilla R with a 550 lb spring. Up front it has a Marzocchi Triple Drop fork.

Both are far to soft for me at 210 lbs.

Any thoughts on the easiest (& cheapest) way to beef up both ends.

thanks for any input

just get rid of that piece of shi# and get a new fork. Get something stiffer because D.O.T. is the worst fork ever, i'd rather have my old exr's then them, well not really but yeah.... Just get a new fork and buy a stiffer spring

Go to www.mojo.co.uk and check their springweight calculator , it has always worked for me.
What yr is yr Stinky ?
I have a 03 Stinky Dee (7 " rear on 2,5 stroke shock)
Im also about 210 ,all geared up, and have the stock 550 spring , the calculator recommends a 587 ( or there abouts , cant remember) , the 550 is ok for DH but Id like a 600 for drops
Cheers

Question about Stinkies....
Why is it that 6-10months ago you could look anytime online and find 01/02 frames for about $300usd but now you cant even find that anymore? Theyre all atleast $450+ it seems like....
