judging by how many dorks that post up about jumping tips and " i tried for 5 minutes and i just can't dirt jump, please help..." one would think you could learn to jump by reading.......

Isn't it all about proper speed and timing? I have found neither at the dirt jumps... I have found the ground though

I am in for tommorow but i need to worki out the logistics. I have to be in san Diego on Sunday so I don't want to drive back to SB on Sat. I am trying to see if i can stay at a buddies in Irvine. I'll PM you when i have it figured out.

that pic is from part of the second section, there about five sections all the way down (a couple hundred yards total), the sections get progressively bigger as you go down. there are about 20 or so jumps in the line total.......

I'm gonna have to check those out. How much hiking is involved (getting in & out) there... assuming you had a full blown 48 lb DH rig?

I've rode some XC loops in that general area before, so I a little familiar with the area. Although, it has been a while since I've been in the SM mtns.... too long.
