Just spent 5 days in whistler with my new RFX (oh and the highline too)...man it sucks to come back, the bills piled up while I was gone, plus my laptop HD died taking lots of music and pix with it...oh well. The trip was great! I put the finishing touches on the new RFX the night before we left. I was eager to ride some whistler westside XC on it, really my favorite riding anywhere and the perfect bike for it. Not a ton of photos (The mosquitos were too bad, and the riding too good) but here's what I got.
Day #1: My Buddy Zane and I did a 5hr loop, using singletrack westside trails to get from blueberry lake to kill me thrill me. First ride on the RFX, feels great! Fighting the fork a bit though, making adjustments as we go. The large frame feels great pedaling and going down, low speed techy stuff is requiring a few more dabs than I would like. By the end of KMTM I'm feeling it though, juts needed to adjust my technique. Bonus is my hands aren't asleep after 5hrs in the saddle. Pics from day #1:
this is "whistler XC"
