My buddy cracked his rear triangle on his 05 Pack. Right where the rockers meet the seatstay it is cracked in two spots. How much is a new rear triangle from Turner? He needs a medium. Actually he only needs the seatstays, but I guess Turner does not have em due to the switch to TNT. Any 5 Pack owners want to sell a rear triangle? TNT or Horst will be fine. Thanks for any help.

That's where its cracked. No worries anyway he bought my Alutech.Rode it yesterday for about four hours and said it was hands down the sickest bike he had ever ridden,and the pack now becomes garage wall art.HEY it is what it is,just tellen it like I heard it.CF..turnerbikes said:

You do seem to have the need to post a shot a Turner every time you post, regardless of what your reason is for participating in a particular thread. Why is that? I only posted because think it was pretty uncool to be a jerk to the owner of the company who was looking to find out what happened to the frame. Which is not an unreasonable request on his part, IMO.
One of the great things about Turner the company is that they actually care about the customer enough to find out about and fix problems like this. The Pack of '05 as a model is long gone, but maybe DT would like to look at what broke and try to figure out why. Maybe take a look at the current model and see if there's a potential weak spot. Maybe do a revision if need be. Or maybe just take of the customer whose bike broke. That's what they usually do to overwhelming satisfaction.
So even though you hated your Turner, it doesn't really make sense that you come in here flaming every time you post. Does it?

I've know only one person that cracked a 5 Spot rear... and that was on the chainstay...... and boy did he beat the living sh@t out of that rear. He used to go as fast as possible... lift the front end at an obstacle and bash the rear into it. He hasn't broken the replacement yet. Over 2 years and counting. I've never seen a seatstay break though.turnerbikes said:
