Thought this was pretty cool when it happend so I thought I'd share with you guys...

The other night I'm on my way to the city for some urban and in the middle of the parking lot of this ritzy hotel called The Jefferson are these two Big Arse plush looking identical motor homes and 4 or 5 tatted up dudes standing around them with their bikes. Our freeride scene is limited to say the least and I'm always looking to make new riding homies so naturally I turn around and go back.
I roll up and ask if they were going out or coming back and this shaved headed, tatted up dude with an english accent tells me that they just got back from riding. The other guys gather around my truck sort of peepin my bike and I'm explaining that there are some pretty cool urban jibs in the city if they were interested in coming back out for a little bit. They explained that they were from out of town and had a pretty important dinner function so they couldn't make it.
During the conversation one guy is asking questions about my bike so I get it off the rack so he can check it out. Another guy with kinda long hair is looking at it pretty intently and when the first guy rolls back around he asks if he can also take it for a spin. Naturally I said "sure bro...go for it" While this guy is "TOOLing" around the parking lot on my bike I finally ask the english guy "So are you guys with a band or what?" and he responds "Yea...we're only here for two days but we wanted to get some riding in" So out of curiousity I ask him which band...to which he responds "Tool....I'm the production manager and the guy on your bike is the bass player"
They were playing here the following night but it didn't even occur to me who they were. I'm an even bigger Tool fan now.

thats awesome man. I was in montreal sitting on the street hammered with my friend and this guy asked for a cigarette and towards the end of the conversation we found out he was the bass player for yellowcard. Even though they suck its still kinda cool to meet someone in a band...

Dude thats awesome, TOOL is fvcking amazing. I wanted to go see them at the Tower but it was sold out :(
Yep they rock...I've got almost every CD they've done and a one or two Perfect Circles. Wasn't too impressed with the last Tool offering but I'm still a huge fan. Got a few Tool songs on my iPod "fired up riding music" song list.

I didn't see Maynard...just the production guys, the drummer and the bass player. Was the prod. mgr. and the bass player that rode my bike and chilled and talked to me for a while. Pretty cool though.
