Does anyone know a really good hub that makes an incredibly loud clicky noise like all the top of the line downhill bikes do? I dont want a regular clicky noise where the noise goes away after getting to a certain speed. i am looking for the type of noise that never goes away and when you are going really fast it still sounds and is loud. Anyone know nay good hubs to get this type of noise?
Thanks

It's funny ... I just asked a week ago by customer to reduce the annoying noise from his DT hub. :band:

loudest hubs:
Industry 9s (120 engagement points or so, very lout engagement as well) **by far the loudest!**
Kings : (74? i think engagement points, goofy noise it makes, but sure is loud!)
Hadleys : (either 36 or 72 engagement points, loud as fvck, i run em on my bike)
some DTs. (not sure on engagement points, but they can get pretty loud)

might I ask why you want loud hubs?

I have one of the older 108 point engagement Hadleys. Loud as hell.

DTs (IMO) usually tend to be on the quieter side.

Ringles have a nice sound to them.

You can pack those pawls with grease to deaden the noise.

Kings are more like a buzz than a click.

I just got one and I can't decide if I like it or if It is obnoxious. Thing is loud as hell.
I think its kinda obnoxious but its a quality hub with minimal weight and relativley inexpensive, I can deal with the noise. Plus once I hit dirt, I don't really notice what my hub sounds like

Hope Pro's aren't as loud as some of the others stated but where price is a driving factor, they're pretty dang loud for the money and a good deal less than of lots of others on the market.. Got a real metallic ring to them.

I9's sound like a Zebco fishing reel with a BIG fish on. You want a cool sounding hub? Go with them...Be ready to come off the hip though. THEY AINT CHEAP!!!

Chris King's have a sweet sound, not really a click, but more of a buzz. Kind of sounds like you're getting chased down the trail by a swarm of angry bee's. I don't even notice it anymore, but I can tell a difference with hikers between riding my Outlaws and my Kings, with the Kings they tend to hear me coming sooner.
