Does anyone know how to get info on Kent Erikson's 29"ers? I did a Google search, but can't find a website address.
Thanks,
Jim C.

Well, I wasn't. Simply pointing out that you do such a great job picking on yourself that I didn't need to.FoShizzle said:"why is everybody always pickin on me?"
good point.....it was better when aquashitforbrains spent more time on empty beer dot com. now i get my usual dose of abuse with what would be targeted towards him as wellmikesee said:Well, I wasn't. Simply pointing out that you do such a great job picking on yourself that I didn't need to.
Plus, it's like the new fad (Fo Pickin' ?) or something, and I hate getting caught up in fads...

Not cool, Fomer..not cool. Because of your feeble attempt to mess with me..I'm forced to show these peeps the trick you taught your doggie.FoShizzle said:good point.....it was better when aquashitforbrains spent more time on empty beer dot com. now i get my usual dose of abuse with what would be targeted towards him as well

Hey Don, look familiar? From Cyclingnews today.DWF said:Fock yeah! I'm always hanging out offstage and never get any credit! Come on, Baby, love me like you mean it!

Not I can take any credit for Kent's work and that's the deepest cut!![]()
The Flamespray info got me thinking...could you apply a few coats of paint to the seatpost to increase its thickness? Rattlecan clearcoat even? It's a ghetto idea, but do you think it could add enough thickness to fill some space? The Squeaky Wheel said:Kent got a bit exuberant reaming the seattube and it's off by a few hundreths of an inch. Just enough to allow the seatpost to slip during the course of a ride
Yes indeedy it was a KE, #038 in fact and it is so sweet. So to try and get this thread back on track, here are some pics posted earlier in the year, so long ago it seems. Kent is a great guy to work with and what a stellar build!!! And two pics included:NuMexJoe said:I could be wrong, but I thought edemtbs was flying one (and I mean flying!) with a Pace fork at RMH06. Sweet bike.

Hey man!! What's the deal on your journey?cocheese said:I want to know whether or not what is left of that Gravity Dropper will launch itself into your crotch if you hit the button. 3-2-1-blast off!
I'll be there, and would be curious to see what the 'Moth w/ Fluid is capable of, especially with the Sultan as a reference point. However, as a rule the Homers go gaga over new trick forks so the Lyrik w/ 29" wheel would undoubtedly leave them speechless. :eekster:mikesee said:I'll be swapping between the Pike, Lyrik, and WB 130 for the next 4 rides, and whichever one gives the biggest smile will be brought on the trip. You gonna be at Goose?
Actually, most of the Homers don't habla 29er yet since Turner hasn't released a 29er frame.miles e said:I'll be there, and would be curious to see what the 'Moth w/ Fluid is capable of, especially with the Sultan as a reference point. Nat, that's a ghetto fix I've been thinking about all summer. I'm going to reopen this discussion with Kent and visit Brett's mechanic at Ultimate first and go from there.Nat said:The Flamespray info got me thinking...could you apply a few coats of paint to the seatpost to increase its thickness? Yo Squeaky - I meant to address this last time, but carried away with the horseplay. Every time I've had a slipping post problem it's been with a Thomson. In my experience, their posts tend to run undersize. Before you try anything else, make sure you measure your post and/or try a different one. Above all, talk to Kent before you do anything that may affect the frame, maybe he'll hook you up with one of his new posts. The Squeaky Wheel said:Nat, that's a ghetto fix I've been thinking about all summer. Thanks for all the tips guys.
True dat. I've held off on a FS 29"er frame for three years now for the same reason. The Squeaky Wheel said:Actually, most of the Homers don't habla 29er yet since Turner hasn't released a 29er frame.
They probably won't "get it" until it's on a Turner frame

That's cool. You know he'll do you right. Kent is aces! The Squeaky Wheel said:DWF,
Thanks for the tip. Didn't know he was getting into posts.
I mic'd 2 different Thompsons that I tried, one Elite & one Masterpiece, and they're both spot-on.
I hope to talk with KE later today
Nope, I'm tearing up pretty good right now myself. :lol:edemtbs said:Am I the only sick b@st@rd who thinks that animated gif is hilarious? Everytime I look at that thing tears come out of my eyes.
