Yo - if you want to swing by Ultimate...we have a Manufacturing Engineer that can probably solve your problem. He's good - real good.

What kind of non-hippie frame jig is that?

Dude, they keep getting more and more hi-tech every year....
If I'm not mistaken, it looks like there's another non-hippie jig laying on the table. How many jigs does a small builder need? :)

I believe it is an anvil frame jig:

www.anvilbikes.com

nifty toy for building frames if you have an extra $7000 laying around.......
$7,200 + shipping for the SuperMaster actually. :) The Journeyman is about half that.

A bargain when you consider how much bikes cost!

Ouch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it was SSINGA who's GD pod broke mid-ride.
No problems with mine on the Pack and I really dig it in conjunction with the Lyrik.
It's really amazing how complicated my dualie has become. I guess that's one of the reasons I love the 29er SS, although fuddling with the seatpost is a buzz kill (like hanging out with Fo)
oh brother....here we go with the friggin Lyrik again!

let me guess, for your most advanced stage RA patients you prescribe the Lyrik, no?

p.s. you are a stupid "c" word

That pic was shot when Kent was picking up his frame fixture at my shop. A small builder only "needs" one fixture, but some have more than one so they can be more efficient with their time. For guys who do a lot of carbon fiber, they can have several since custom CF bikes stay in the fixtures while they're curing.

One of our best and most successful customers has 12 fixtures, and they're still considered a "small" shop with 3 builders on the floor.

Well, now that the Gravity Dropper is grouped together with bad things like Vioxx & Enbrel I guess I'll have to be more discretionary.

PS. Have you considered putting a Lyrik on your 29er?

That's just not nice. Your wife is right. You really are a douche.

Any chance to show of your jig.
Fock yeah! I'm always hanging out offstage and never get any credit! Come on, Baby, love me like you mean it!

Not I can take any credit for Kent's work and that's the deepest cut! :)

I could be wrong, but I thought edemtbs was flying one (and I mean flying!) with a Pace fork at RMH06. Sweet bike.

Does anyone know how to get info on Kent Erikson's 29"ers? I did a Google search, but can't find a website address.

Thanks,
Jim C.

Can't speak for Fo (he digs a deep enough hole doing it for himself...) but yes, yes I have...

Might come ride with the Turner faithful at Gooseberry next week on this very rig...

That would be awesome Mike. I have a sneaking suspicion that if you did DT would have no choice but to release a long travel 29"er next year. :D

I'll be swapping between the Pike, Lyrik, and WB 130 for the next 4 rides, and whichever one gives the biggest smile will be brought on the trip. You gonna be at Goose?

If he caves, Dave won't be the only one with a LT 29" bike next year...
