Yes, they are generally the same. Only the bikeyoke/manitou have had stuff that only works for the earlier bikeyoke post where the cable stop is at the lever rather than the post, but ALL other dropper post levers can do both easily. PNW, wolftooth, cheap knockoffs, they all work.

Oh, I thought he meant remotes, not levers. Read that wrong. Yeah, you can't interchange levers except between the same-model remote, and I don't think anyone even offers these separately.

You just go down to the junk yard. If you go past the Chevys and the Packards, there’s a 1 gallon bucket of old dropper post levers. Just sift through those until you find the correct one in red. Easy as pie!

I ended up with a dropper that takes the ball end of the cable and a lever that also takes the ball end of the cable but I was able to use one of those little clamps that slide on and then set screw at the lever and it work just fine. Looks a little sloppy if you get real close and look at it but I touched it up black and no one would notice. YMMV

I have no knowledge of this remote, but I've been known to mess with stuff.
-can you disassemble and send out for anodize/powdercoat
-or spray paint
-mask careful and just paint it attached?
Or if not willing to suffer down time, buy a replacement pre-owned and do the above?

My Revive does not like the Shimano dropper lever. The Shimano lever does not pull enough cable to actuate the Revive. Took me a while to figure this out. The Revive requires more lever throw than my other droppers.
That's actually good to know, because I love the Shimano MT800 lever. I am pretty sure it will remain my favorite unless Wooftooth puts a return spring in their V2 lever.

Ok guys and gals a little bit of spray paint worked the magic. Why spend $60 for a colorful dropper when you can take the one you have and a dollars worth of spray paint looks this good

LOL. Show us another pic in a week or two! Not sure about painted plastic as much as a dropper lever gets used but it sure does look good now!

Completely non sequitur.... but just for general knowledge... Wolftooth is the only maker I know of that sells just a lever for their remotes. For the Remote Pro only though.

It’s really cool that Wolftooth is dedicated to the Right to Repair and makes every single part of their components replaceable. Besides the environmental benefit of not filling the landfill up with components that are actually still just fine so long as one small piece were replaced, this approach respects the consumer and allows them to get a lifetime of use from the component at a reasonable price. When I replace components I’m planning to buy Wolftooth and then move them to each new frame I buy as I go through life
