Good Evening

Back in october 2023 , the person who sold me a Gary Fisher Hookoo Ekoo frame had a nice Giant frame for sale at an unbeatable for sale using the Alcoa CU92 6013 T6 Aluminium tubing. It was a big size frame like was my Gary Fisher, so I grabed, I already have wheels for it, I will need to buy shifter cranks, brake lever, vbrakes, cassette, tires, tubes and a fork.
The Bronco was the predecessor of the ATX 880 in the Giant Series. The 6013 offered better weldability and resistance to fatigue compared to the 6061 and the 7005 aluminium series which is why I bought it. The color itself was unusual and very unique.

I completely repainted all the scratches and chips on the Giant Bronco with three coats of green nail polish very close to the original color for maximum protection.

In september 2024, the project was finished. Total weight of the bike is 11.9kilos but isa large size with a pair of crossmax mk1 xt780t-xt8000 groupset, very pleasant and fast to ride

However the Cross Max Mark 1 being now a collectible I decided to look for another wheelset with hubs which were more high end than Mavic and which were artisanally assembled.
so I ordered a custom set of wheels for this one , with something very high end and exceptionnal

This wheelset is 200grams lighter than the Cross Max Mark1 and is very reactive
New wheels have been installed , we shaved 200gr compared to the initial weight with the crossmax 1st generation

What the next step will be ? A Rock Shox Sid for making it even lighter
