So I got this along with a Marzocchi Bomber Air shock to replace the OEM X-fusion suspension that came with the bike. Perfectly happy with the shock. The fork is another matter. I bought the air spring and charger upgrades with butter cups to turn it into an Ultimate, However I doubt I'm really knowledgeable enough to get that dialed in with the extra settings and wonder if I would just be better of trading it all in for a more well regarded set and forget Mattoc Comp or Marzocchi Bomber fork?

Mattox Comp all the way. ABS+ damper is where it's at. Feels really good. It has a real LSC adjustment range that provides the support you want and then blows off for bigger impacts, exactly how it should. You can always reshim to tune HSC but for most people I think that side of things will work pretty well.

I got the same Rockshox fork. I would check with Rockshox Trailhead for the tune of your fork first, see if you like it.

Everything I read about these on this and other forums tell how much people are delighted by these forks especially after the 2023 updates.
I am running a Mezzer (found one at a very reasonable price), coming off a fox 34 vorsprung-fractive upgraded which was very good.
Mezzer is a step up in plushness and control. I'd assume the mattoc is as good (if not better) as the Mezzer.

I'd be selling the pike and getting a mattoc (expert/pro if weight is a concern. comp otherwise) in your place.

I have a plain old 130mm Pike Select.
I weigh 190# and ride a HT.
The Pike has been really good. I think I have at least 3 volume spacers/tokens in it. ...maybe 4.
It sits at about 20% sag, handles chatter, pedals really well, doesn't brake dive, and never folds under in G-outs.
It also takes an act of real stupidity to bottom it out set up like that.
It was not hard to get it set - and I'm not a suspension guru.
