I went for a ride and didn't get offended.

I went for a ride the other day. Through town and out to the bike park and back. I come across walkers, runners, mountain bikers, e-bikers, general families and people enjoying themselves in parks.

When I rode past people we exchanged pleasantries. Nobody got offended and everyone was enjoying the day.
It was a fun ride and a nice day.

I rode yesterday and it was 68f in the lot, and 100f by the time we made it to the tippy top. Dry and dusty lizard people vibes but it was so fun. I had to contend with the struggle of riding low psi and having killer traction in the dusty dry, or bottom out on the rim in the rocks. The face flies are out of control. No snakes sighted but did see a young Coyote and a tarantula hawk. The heat keeps the trail user crowd to an absolute minimum, so we had the place entirely to ourselves pretty much.

Pfft, that's nothing. ;)

My wife and I were riding yesterday and had to dismount and walk around three different ATVs that were blocking the trail as there was really no where for them to pull over. They were quite apologetic to which I replied, "no worries guys, enjoy your ride". I never gave it a second thought until just now.

I came across the dreaded Bluetooth speaker ebiker yesterday, he waved and said hello , I told him to have a good ride.
I came across a guy on a regular bike with a Bluetooth speaker. It was… uneventful.
Both of you need to seek treatment for you sexual deviancy and resultant masturbation at riders with blue tooth speakers.
Quite frankly i'm sickened....
Or has the internet ruined me?

I passed a mountain biker yesterday on my Levo.

There were two lines. I said " passing on your right" and took the more technical line. Didn't get in their way or obstruct them in any fashion.

I didn't ask for their permission, did not 'scream' (seriously, c'mon man!), did not give a F if they responded and continued on with a fantastic day (until it got dark)

Don't fret, nothing nefarious happening here. It's just my Levo's battery catching on 🔥

That’s a relief. I was concerned that coal rolling might be catching on with e-bikers.

you so obviously had your head in the wrong place, sounds like you had numerous opportunities to feel shitty & passed on all of them. get out there & try again.

Sure, but you're probably still the douchebag according to a likely random sample of said walkers, runners, MTBers, e-bikers, and families. Someone from each one of those groups has probably posted on their local enthusiast forum or Nextdoor app about your egregious behavior. Do better, Plummet.... : )

Don't you live in Aus? I am surprised you went riding and didn't get attacked, stung, or bit by something poisonous.
