That is looking not moveable, bummer. Maybe they sell or make a different mount?

Alternatively, you could drill another set of holes in the plates.
Looking at the 2 different mounting hardware I do wonder if the frame has all of the "holes" in both versions but the mounting bracket is just longer on the newest version.

Yeah, I'd expect the frame mount is standard for all frames with two sets of threaded holes 20 mm apart, so Starling changed the shock mount to limit options or ??

Based on emails back/forth from Joe the BLE is intended for only 1 shock size so that would be my guess. I wonder if the mount is the same then for all the other models and one could purchase that separately?

Mine got stuck in NY too long, should be here tomorrow though. The bundle of parts sitting in my storage closet has been looking sad since November and I haven't had a bike since then, so stoked to finally get it put together.

Our fires died down too. I was at a point where I thought there was a non-zero chance they'd deliver it to a burned out shell of my house, thankfully that didn't happen. They got it in before April 2nd too, which is helpful.

I’m glad mine is adjustable, currently running 230 x 60, at rebuild I’ll go to 230 x 65, the BLE is a great enduro bike.

It’s a great bike even running a short stroke, I’m just more into the downhill so I’ll take more if I can get it, but I wouldn’t hesitate to get a BLE with the stock travel.

Joe knows I overstroked mine, not sure why they made the running change, but I suspect Starling would sell you the previous model shock mount.

I run boost wheels, longer axles is the only mod needed, but it soedad the drop outs enough that adjusting the tension takes a little added effort to push the drop out flush into the frame before tightening.

Here is mine. I have some Trinity brakes on order that will replace the Dominions once they show up:

I'm just hoping I can ride it. I rode the smoothest trail in the area yesterday and my neuropathy problems started creeping in, despite never happening on flow trails before :( Gonna make some adjustments and hope it helps otherwise it might be the end of me riding.

Built up my BLE today and took it out for a shakedown spin to sort out shock pressures and fit. A few bits to swap out and adjustments to make but all signs point to fun and adventures ahead. View attachment 2138780
Pretty!

I have a Twist Mullet on order that’s the same color 😍
