Anyone lucky enough to grab one of the Trini[TI] sets? I was going to settle on Trickstuff Direttissimas for my new bike as I wanted the full black stealth look and the hose connection on the Intends annoyed me. But couldn't resist all black Trinity, with the bonus of titanium!

Missed out on the dh set, managed a trail set.

Hello there! I have some trinity ti coming soon too!
I just read that people have troubles with hose disconnecting during big crash if the handlebar turn more than 180deg, is it really a concern ?
Case like this are rare but it might happend especially on enduro/dh …
Any feedback on this?

Might not be happening to everybody but yes, it can happen. For me only at the front.
I wanted to sell mine because I got tired of it, missing riding time on trips and tipping shops € for letting me fix& bleed my brakes.. but I'm also a bit spoiled at this point 🤓

It will depend on how often you crash and how long is your hose.
I'll try running a long hose so my bars can spin like 360° and maybe 3d print a small clamp to hold the hose against the bars? Or run a DC fork 😎

Happened to me on the front twice. I just bring a bleed kit in the car from now on. Or, get a really long hose for the front. For downhill if you have a dual crown it won't be an issue. It's annoying when it happens, but the brakes are so good I'm willing to deal with it...so far. I swap them out for mavens when I take my bike to other places(Whistler/Sedona once or twice a year) so I know the local shop will be able to service the mavens. Anywhere driving distance with my own car I have a bleed kit.

I’m a big fan of mavens! How the switch between the two is ? I’m scared that I will love the trinity so much that I will hate my mavens on my eeb

Tried to snag a set of the LE Trinity's at exactly 10am EST. Said there was some available, like 20 sets still, put a set in my cart, immediately went to checkout then got a message saying there's now none available. Such BS. If I add it to my cart, it should be reserved at that point and give me a few mins to complete the purchase.

Agreed. I contacted them about it and it all comes down to how fast you can get through the shopping cart.

Afaik it's not common online stores implement cart hold on hot items. Shopify drops make you go through the queue and checkout asap too. I tried at 9 for the DH sets, knowing I'd get some practice to see how it worked, and was able to close in at 10 for the trail set. Prefill your info with something else you carted so when you add the brakes to your cart, you refresh the checkout page and checkout asap. If you go through the normal cart order like I did for the Dh sets (add to cart-> fill info -> pay) it's going to be too slow.
