This was at the World Cup Grundig in Park City in 1991. I won my age category in the Hill climb, XC and Trials events.
I had never seen a MTB race so decided to enter my first race ever.

Hill Climb on my Cannondale Trials bike (Boy, that was a *****!)

Back in college, 1999, I picked up an early digital camera. Western Michigan University, Kodak DC290.

1997 Trek Y-11, and a 1998 Cannondale CAAD1 frame from a frame C-Dale closeout deal. Singlespeed with a Marzocchi Z-4.

2003/04 timeframe. Us Open at Mt Creek NJ. Thought I was fast as a Cat 1/Jr Ex at 15 or 16 yrs old until Sam Hill and Brynn Atkinson showed up and mopped the floor with all of us lol.

Some of these old photos bring back so many good memories. I’ve been going through a bunch of my old riding shots, and I realized I should probably organize them better before they get lost in old hard drives. Thinking about using https://www.nixplay.com/ to set up some digital albums—it’d be cool to have a rotating display of classic rides instead of just keeping them buried in folders.
