Stop, you’re killing me with kindness.
I’ll await your examples.

Meanwhile feel free to throw fatties and geeks under the bus when you feel it convenient. I probably fit both of those “groups” in some respects.

You wouldn't want to miss your chance to cut me down. I know that first one really worked out for you...

This thread needs a coffee break I think.
No thanks. But JB will never acknowledge he said those things or provide me with who I marginalized.

I definitely busted CJ_'s chops about the meat thing. Maybe that's what he's remembering. But I just can't get behind that junk science. And if you're getting offended over your preachy dietary choices, you probably need to re-evaluate. I mean everyone has a line, but I just can't respect that one like neurodiversity, disabilities, race, religion, sexual preference or gender. Sorry...

Are you talking about the post when I was making a point that often the very same people who (rightfully) think it’s inappropriate to make fun of overweight humans see skinny people as fair game? The one that flew completely over your head? That one? Is that why mountain bikes are so expensive?

Yes, because like white folk, skinny people have been marginalized their entire existence.

You're a piece of work, I'll give you that.

And yet you feel entirely justified to think you've known all my personal relationships, particularly with those not from this country. All I can say is, I'm glad we aren't friends.

As for the adherence to the OP, I think that ship sailed with the racial comment. And what I was commenting about until you, like a great reporter, chose to precisely misquote what I said to serve your motive*. Thanks again, friend.

*PS if you think what I was doing was the same, and was ironic, then you probably missed some stuff in between the lines.

The funniest (saddest?) part of comparing moto and bicycles is how much more cyclists are willing to pay for marginal gains and how small those gains are compared to a similarly upgraded motorcycle.

Take the same average bicycle rider off a $5,000 stumpjumper and put them on a $15,000 Stumpjumper and they might be 1% faster over a given trail. The rider is the engine and you can't buy your way out of that corner.

Put the same middling motorcyclist on a $6000 Aprilla 457 and then give them an $18000 Aprilla 1100. If they can stay on top of either bike long enough to get it around a given track they will sure as sh1t be faster on the $18000 motorcycle. I'd bet 2x faster. You're paying for the engine and all you have to do is turn the throttle to use it.
I disagree. Giving an average motorcycle rider a more e pensive bigger higher spec bike will not make them faster. Will most likely cost them a lot in hospital bills

In truth they may be faster on the lower spec smaller bike because they can handle more of its potential
