Two days ago I hit some janky DH rock sections as hard as possible at speed. That and yesterday reinforced that this is a "gets smoother the faster you go in the rough"-shock. As it should be. Liking a lot. Very well controlled. I think I was getting close to optimal settings. I'm done riding for months now due to planned surgery.

Good luck with the surgery!

Got the Telum installed in place of the Float X on the Yeti 160e this weekend before I rode Mammoth bike park. To say I'm impressed would be a huge understatement. It was really incredible, I honestly didn't know that you could have that level of plushness, yet still have plenty of support and bottom out resistance like it provides. It totally erased the braking bumps and small choppy stuff yet withstood the big hits smoothly. Riding it back to back with my other bike, it was crazy how much faster I felt comfortable going on narrow bumpy trails, it just never got upset at all.

Mine was spec'd with the Sprindex set at the lowest setting of 395, and it seems right on for my application.

Great the shock is working for you but your comparison is like going from a Mini to a Porsche :D

I’ve ridden it for the first time today and am blown out of the water. Perfect conditions, mind you, but easily the plushest shock I’ve encountered ( vs push 11.6, CC double barrel kitsuma). At the same time it’s controlled and deals with big hits very well and has some energy for jumps. Hadn’t thought that possible in a shock. Very smooth transition between high and low speed compression. Usable climb switch. Would absolutely recommend!

What bike?

I have a brand new one here for my Druid v2. I am using a Push 11/6 now and it’s been excellent. So much so that I want to sell the Telum before using it. But I am tempted to try and compare.
obviously this depends hugely on the data you entered for your tuning. But this has delivered more than I could have ever hoped for. And I was really happy with the 11.6 on my nomad. To clarify: this hasn’t been the latest generation of 11.6 so the latest ones may be different

Could be there possibility to change internal settings myself, as end customer? I've never sent a shock for service or tune change anywhere, so I can say it's hit or miss for me. Does anyone know how it looks?
Yes, you just need to buy the endcap tool and watch their training video. It's bone simple.

You will need an end cap tool, login to Vorsprung Tuning Hub Home and under 'Telum Training' watch a video on how to use the tuning hub and then one on how to do the tuning process.

There is a simple test to make sure you were paying attention to the video, once you pass you run through the tune submission form.

I just did this to re-tune my Telum for an Evil Insurgent LS and as @damdam5 said, it is pretty easy - no popping open the shock, no bleed, pretty cool tbh.

@damdam5 @silentG Thanks, amazing news, I thought there will be need for being some kind of service center or other workshop cooperating with Vorsprung. If buyer status and tool is enough that is pretty cool.
Not sure what you mean by buyer status, but they do support the product for secondary buyers as well. I bought an unused telum on the pinkbike and they were fine with transferring the shock to my rider profile and are good with warranty transfer as well. Great company to work with.

Sorry for my ignorance, just checked tuning hub and I just did not know you have such a brilliant tool to change tune as a owner. Now I am wondering why I am not owner yet. Thanks.
