Sadly, there is no shipping to Canada.
Anyone heard any rumours about a new Hayes brake coming out soon?
Debating shipping them to a parcel holding service at that price... Seems like a pretty stellar deal?
Just don't know when I'd be able to drive down and collect them. Could be weeks/months, and if there's any issues then I'm royally hooped.

Alternatives I'm shopping for are M6120 or M7120 - either shopping within Canada or one of the EU sites which would ship to family in Ireland who would then forward to me... I'll put my thought process in a quote box so it doesn't take up the whole page for people who don't care 😂

Rambling thoughts said:
Dominion A4 (N+1 shipped within US)
$480 CAD with Rotors
$400 CAD without Rotors

M6120
$315 CAD no rotors (TBS; shipped + tax)
$274 CAD no rotors (EU option)
...$200 CAD (Merlin Cycles, been checking for a while, always seem to be OOS)

M7120
$420 CAD no rotors (TBS)
$335 CAD no rotors (EU option)

Other price/factors to consider:
$75 (EU) - $120 (CA) for Shimano RT64 Rotors. I already have tonnes of oil.
M6120 = $350 (EU) - $435 (CA)
M7120 = $410 (EU) - $540 (CA)

Dominions
$55 for 2x centerlock to 6-bolt adapters
$20 for PM adapter as apparently the Dominion calipers don't play nice with the Shimano adapter?
$555 all in (+ a jug of DOT)
Really was hoping to keep it around $400 all in. If I'm sticking to Canada and looking at $435 for Deore vs $555 for A4s maybe I can convince myself. But if I look to the EU options, it's $350 Deore vs $410 SLX vs $555 Dominion and that's a harder sell.

Might wander into my LBS today and see what they can do. Still a week and a bit til BF so there might be more deals coming but by then N+1 could by OOS...

Commencal Canada has the Shimano xt M8120 for 330+30 shipping, which could be a good deal if you are also looking into Shimano brakes.

Damn I never would have thought to check Commencal for a brake deal. SLX is pretty much not in the running any more with that info. It's down to Deore vs XT vs Dominion...

Edit: never mind, Commencal want $75 shipping

Site says brake set but only shows 1 set of master and caliper, nowhere does it say two complete sets, front and rear. I'm confused.... Don't want to hit that buy button without confirmation.

the rotor dropdown only shows options with 2 rotors.

this is a smokin deal. I LOVE mine. I'd get some for my wife's bike to replace her crappy guides, but I think the A2s are more suitable for her.
