Wouldn't it be cool if you could buy a frame not just based on rider height, but also rider weight. It seems unfair that a 165 lb rider has to purchase a high end Carbon frame designed for a 220+ lb rider. There are lots of options for parts that have rider-weight limits, but frame designers sadly have to design them to survive whatever the heaviest riders can dole out. I feel 95% over Carboned.

Totally agree. Part of why I love (and am keeping) my 2019 SC 5010 V3. It doesn't have an overly heavy beefy frame. It is just right for me at 168 lbs ready to ride. Unfortunately it isn't as modern of a geo as I want for faster, steeper stuff. But that bike is light and easy to flick around, so fun.

The HT V3 was on my short list recently, though I ultimately ended up with a Ripmo V3. Both HT and Ripmo are 'over carboned' for my weight. Part of that is also the frame storage requiring so much more of a downtube :(

Again, I'm pretty sure the kid I was talking to at the SC Factory store isn't involved in the plans for future models, but he was solidly convinced that SC would not offer frames that were either 29 or Mx via a flip-chip or linkage swap. He claimed there were too many compromises, and you ended up with a bike that was not optimal for either.

My V3 frame arrived yesterday. Checked the dropper internal routing since I read some frames had issues, but it was all good there.

Attempted to install my Mara Pro and it does not fit. I’m so disappointed… that shock is the best air shock I’ve ever run and I was looking forward to run it on the new frame.

Has anyone fitted the new Mara Pro Piggyback on a HT3? They said the new reservoir is shorter and that it fits a lot more frames.

I'm a bit concerned now if they go full on reducing anti-squatt on the hightower as well, I haven't seen any mention on how this might have affected pedaling efficiency!
The below from Enduro reviewing the new Bronson isn't very positive on climbing prowess. Calling out the need to use climb switches is unusual anymore--most current bike reviews talk about how climb switches are barely even necessary with new kinematics.

"Riding uphill, the first thing you’ll notice is the upright, relaxed pedalling position. The Bronson positions you slightly behind the pedals, which might prevent you from squeezing out the last tiny watt of efficiency but ensures a more relaxed ride over the course of a day. The suspension works accordingly: the reduced anti-squat values result in a plusher rear end, which translates in good traction on climbs but also generates a slight bob. On moderate climbs, you might want to consider locking out the suspension to save energy. The high front end takes pressure off your hands, ensuring a comfortable ride on fire road climbs. However, on steep, technical climbs, the front end tends to lift off the ground, requiring you to actively weight the front wheel."
