More evolution the revolution. Nice bike but nothing that would make me trade my two year old Tallboy.
New version of ht and bronson will be out any moment nowAnybody know why they are blowing them out so cheap at the moment?
Oh, you should go read the latest rumor over on Vital....Just occurred to me, someone earlier said the HT would be mx compatible but also that a Bronson is coming out... why in the world would you have a Bronson and a MX compatible Hightower... unless it's the same bike. But then, which name are they going with?
Ha it was probably me. After I realized it on there I figured I would throw it out here too. This Bronson/Hightower thing is really throwing me for a loopOh, you should go read the latest rumor over on Vital....
Brontower. ~150mm rear travel, coil compatible, MX compatible, and reasonable weight would put it at the top of my personal list. New Stumpy and Ripmo both have some drawbacks that I'm not crazy about.Just occurred to me, someone earlier said the HT would be mx compatible but also that a Bronson is coming out... why in the world would you have a Bronson and a MX compatible Hightower... unless it's the same bike. I completely agree. This is the bike I want. +1 for Brontower. A smidge less travel Nomad with a 64 HTA & ~440 chainstay in size L. Running a 160 lyrik and a 150 shock of choice. MX or 29 flip chip.Brontower. ~150mm rear travel, coil compatible, MX compatible, and reasonable weight would put it at the top of my personal list. So basically you want a Bronson with a MX/29 flip chip.I completely agree. This is the bike I want. +1 for Brontower. A smidge less travel Nomad with a 64 HTA & ~440 chainstay in size L. Running a 160 lyrik and a 150 shock of choice. MX or 29 flip chip.
Sure, and a slacker head angle. 64.7 in high is too steep. Chainstay could be a smidge longer tooSo basically you want a Bronson with a MX/29 flip chip.
Mega with a motor sounds interesting. I really don't see the point of a Mega anymore though. Prefer the Nomad.Haha.
No it was something about SC is going to leaning heavily into ebikes going forward, and th4 next Mega would have a motor.
Can't find it easily on my phone right now, sorry.
Bronson with 29er capability and ~1.5lbs lighter weight and I'd have bought one already...So basically you want a Bronson with a MX/29 flip chip.
we just saw new Tallboy colors, so I wouldn't expect anything soon for the TallboyIs SC already updating the Hightower? I would update the Tallboy first (it's too heavy for a downcountry/trail bike).
