Just finished the work on our newest trail at sunrise! That makes number 2 for the season. Hope everyone enjoys this new green flow trail. I am super happy with the outcome and I am really becoming one with my mini excavator. Can't wait to start on the Pinal Mountain Projects. I have built lots of trail over the years and Sunrise definitely has to be the hardest terrain to build in due to the mountain itself and the crazy amount of old/new growth that covers the area. Luckily for this build I wasn't on 100% slopes and got a break from the white-knuckle hillside balance Lol.

Now to revisit Jaage' to fun it up more and then to a new blue off the top

Enjoy!

What’s the name? Heading up again on the 30th weather permitting and look forward to trying it. Sunrise is a blast now when it used to be kind of a dud.

ah, went to YT directly and saw the name. Cartoon Forest. Cool. New Blue anything like identity crisis would be another treat.

Thanks! Glad you like Identity crisis! That was a hell of a build and tested my resolve. It was a hard build through nothing but rock the whole way to the bottom where I finally found dirt to work with. It also was on some crazy steep slopes. I suspect based on routing the new blue will be similar but with many more turns. I am planning to add as many features as possible but will be limited on what mother nature provides.

Love it. I’ve ridden most of the trails on the main mountain and Identity Crisis is the most pure fun one there IMO. Chutes and Ladders, Jaagé and Pinedale (way underrated, very fun romp back to the lift IMO) are next for me.

Really great work by the crew. It is so much fun to ride there these days and there’s no way you’d get bored. Makes the 4 hour drive totally worth it.

I fully plan on trying Loamazona and Ba’ Cho this trip as I’ve never been on either. Even if I have to pedal up by myself as most of the guys I go with don’t want to spend that effort. I’ve heard enough great stuff about them that I think it will be worth it.

The trails on Apache are definitely worth the pedal! But it will be much nicer when you can rip down a blue to the geronimo lift to ride it up to ride them. It will also open that side of the mountain up to more trails as well.
