Kate Courtney is a world champion and overall winner with multiple World Cup wins to her name. Batten and Blunk deserve the Olympic spots, no question, but Courtney has earned our respect. Her career isn't done yet. Personally, I think she needs a new team and new bike!
I’m not dissing Kate’s palmares. She’s achieved her fame the hard way. But she’s not performing anywhere near her talent level suggests she should

Yes I've always thought the current Scott Spark is too much bike for her.
She may do better on new team, but definetly not because of the bike. Some restart and fresh staff may help.
She started to fall off before the new bike. She’s still super strong, just not strong enough for the podium anymore, but neither is Neff who she used to battle it out with. I’d like to see Kate get a refresh in a new team, I just don’t think Scott is a good fit.

Think Kate would do more better on something like a Supercaliber? Is that more her style? They seem like opposite XC bikes.
Get the feeling the Spark is designed around one rider; N1no. We've seen similar happen in motorsport, with a car/bike designed for one rider/driver - and others can't get it to work as well.
I think a change of scenery might suit her; a new team, new bike, etc

In other news, Jolanda won't race Va; di Sole, but will race the Tour de Suisse; and is receiving treatment for her breathing issue.

My feeling is that the Spark is too heavy for the ladies.

Wasn't there a rumor that the races would only be on Max (without an add-on) for a few races? I hope we don't have to start paying even more.
The B&R sports add on is what allows us to watch the races on Max. All we have is "for a limited time enjoy the add-on for free." There is no note about how long the limited time is.

Right now it's not bad. I think I am paying $10 for the with commercials. The commercial is a 30 - 1 min whoop commercial that honestly just feels like the rest of the broadcast.

It would be interesting to compare the Spark to the winningest frames from the ladies.

Just if Nino has to run that crazy dropped stem a smaller rider can probably never find a good position.

This isn't accurate - Neff was on the podium in 1/3 of the XCO races so far this season. She was on podium multiple times last season (and then several additional top 10 finishes, including 6/7 place). She won the double at MSA in 2022 as well. She's still very close to the top, whereas Courtney hasn't had a win since 2019 (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and has struggled to be consistent top 10.

10.26kg. No Silverton SLs , no ST aspens, and he used to run without AXS dropper on some special races, so easily under 10kg
Unless I see a pic that shows that front wheel in it's entirety, I'm not buying it. ;) The Spark, while not too heavy for a female rider to handle, is not the lightest bike on the start line.

Certainly not a lightest bike, but Kate bike is around 10-10.1kg , that is well below average weight and certainly not a limiting factor 100%. I don´t think anybody is running a lighter than 9.5kg FS bike.
Blevins bike without a dropper and FA is probably one of the, if not the lightest bike on the line.

Not a chance it’s under 10kg race weight. That bike is maybe 10.6kg race weight. They are not light
My 2023 Spark is 23 lbs race ready (10.43 kg). This is without a dropper, but with pedals, cages, power meter, 2.35 tires, (3 oz sealant) and wahoo mount. The dropper and hardware adds 0.61 lbs.

Correct me if I’m wrong but on the picture you see the aspen st clearly. The other dropper was because the remote lockout of the axs dropper doesn’t work with the TwinLoc.
