I saw a Nicolai e-bike at my local trails about 3 weeks ago for the first time in years. No idea of the model, it looked similar to the one linked above but didn't have the Pinion MGU, rather a gearbox in the rear hub. It did have a Gates carbon belt on it though. Guy bought it used, new to MTB. It was really nice actually, but he said it 65lbs, which is a big nope for me.

I really want my next e-bike to have a Pinion MGU. Over replacing cassettes and chains. Kinda dig this Bulls e-bike: BULLS Vuca Evo AM2 - Pinion

65 pounds, yikes. That's too heavy for me too. I like the Simplon Rapcon Pinion MGU e-bike:

That would be cool. All for more options!

Like it, but a nope for me because of the headset cable routing. I hate that.

Id take the Rotwild RX1000 with a chain tensioner in the back. Check out the ground clearance too. I like how the motor is tipped up in the front. I sure wish they sold them in the USA.

You think so, but you've never had a belt.

Trust me, you get a belt and you'll be sad the first time you get into heavy mud.

A heavy duty chain, like the KMC E1/S1, it'll last forever; that's what I run on my Pinion.

Get the extra long life cogs, they're super beefy!
