I'm not a blingy person at all, but it would be nice to see some cosmetic improvements on the 350's.
I kind of like the lack of bling that helps keep the price reasonable. Lots of blingy options on the market already.

All the 2023 (and maybe 2022?) 370s I've seen have been star ratchet. I haven't bothered to look into what makes a 350 better than a 370 anymore.
It used to be 240 was made in Switzerland and lighter.
350 was made in Asia and heavier.
370 was made in Asia and 3-pawl.

Two of my 2023 $10k-ish Scotts came with carbon Syncros wheelsets with "370" labeled straight pull hubs. Previously I don't think I saw 370s with carbon rims.
I saw few times SC Reserve wheels with 370 hubs…

I have king hubs, hydras, 350s, and pro 5. I weigh 200 lbs and charge hard but like to think i keep it smooth through the chunder. Never had any issues with any of the 4 tbh. If i were to build a new wheelset i would go for pro 5s.

The old 3-pawl or the new star ratchet?

I'm thinking the new 370s have slotted into OEM use where 350s used to be.
The old 3-pawl version.

I wouldn't mind seeing blingy with 350 dependability.
All Black would be an improvement
Take the sticker off and you’ll have black hub, or change the color to whatever you like. Also few years ago they had limited edition 240 Oil Slick version…

Wheels/hubs arrived on Friday and set them up today. Tyres were very tight to get on but setting up tubeless was simple and all inflated straight away..

Encountered a small issue initially as the front had so much resistance/drag in one spot I started to realign the caliper. But once I started to realign I noticed it wasn't the caliper but the hub! Took the wheel back out and rotated the torque caps but could feel some kind of resistance in one spot when I pushed the torque cap into the wheel with a little pressure. Put the wheel back on and it can be heard rubbing even without the pads installed. Did it about 10 times and depending on the amount of pressure the quick release has on, depends if it rubs. I have set the maxle so its perfect without any strange drag/resistance when clamped, but when I tried without any pressure and the quick release open it rubs/drags in one spot without pads.

Any able to guess what might be causing this issue? Are the torque caps interfering with the bearings inside somehow?

I swapped the wheel into other forks (both Pike 2023 models) used another maxle and I think its sorted and hasn't returned, but not sure I like that I can't figure out what it is with different maxle pressures.

Probably bearing - I had st like that and it was a bad bearing.

Just to finish for others looking in the future, Reserve AL feel really nice and the roll of the 350 hubs feels fantastic compared to the Hope and DT Swiss 370. I didn't think I would be able to notice but it feels like I'm running Dissectors instead of DHR II front and rear.

Thanks again

Any more ride info on the Reserve AL? I ordered a set when Competitive Cycle had a 25% off sale recently. But I'm now questioning if the 54t DT350 is enough engagement and the ride quality of the Reserve 30 AL SL is also unknown. I guess I'll have to figure out for myself if I need more poe than 54t, but can you tell me how the Reserves FEEL. Is this a compliant wheel or is it a more firm ride. I am about 165lbs and riding on a hardtail, so I'm looking for a more compliant wheel.

I run 240s on both my mtb's with the default 36t engagement and I climb and pedal a lot. Never thought I needed more tbh, curious why 54t wouldn't be enough? FYI Same weight but on FS bikes.

I currently have 36t engagement with my old wheels and Shimano MT510 hubs. I just really hate that pedal slop I feel when transitioning from coasting to pedaling. Of course I also don't like the slop when I do the occasional rock garden or technical area, but I'm mostly XC riding. So its mostly the slop in engagement I don't like

I guess a big part of it is that its hard to justify spending over $700 on a set of wheels when the only thing I gain is 400g of weight savings and potentially a nicer ride. That is assuming the Reserve wheels are infact a better riding wheel than the no name wheels. So I'm really trying to figure out if the Reserve wheels are a nice enough riding/handling wheel that its worth the cost even with the low POE.

The flip side of this is that free rotation in the ratchet prevents your pedals from being tugged by the chain during suspension compressions. If you have a bike with low anti-squat and kickback, go ahead and run an ulta high POI hub. If your bike has a more common kinematic and you work the suspension below 20mph consider whether a smoother ride is worth a little pedal lag.

Sorry pal but I'm probably not great for giving feedback, to me I feel compliance with 3psi but never really notice wheels. (I'm 155lbs)

I have the SL AL wheels and do really like them, but these 2 reviews might help with confirmation bias ;)

Did you get the wheels? What do you think?

I did order them on impulse, but haven't mounted them up yet. I started wondering about sending them back and going all in on some lightweight carbon wheels. But not sure I want to double the amount of money I have invested in a wheelset.

Our trails just opened up this past weekend.. but now its raining and our clay soil takes days or sometimes weeks to dry. But I should be able to get on the trails soon. After a couple rides to get reacquainted with my bike I'll mount up the new wheels.

Sometimes it really sucks living up north where we only get 5-6 months or riding time.
