What would you go with... Sram GX Transmission or X01 Mechanical?

Picked up an Epic Evo comp on sale and going to take off the NX groupset and put on either the Sram GX Transmission or X01 mechanical.

GX transmission has smooth shifting but comes with the weight penalty compared to X01. Thoughts?

The only 2 people that I know with the GX Transmission seem to have continual issues with them. Let everyone who wants this be the guinea pigs to figure this out before I go there.
My shift cable has yet to fail me.

I don't see the new Shimano Deore 11spd in the options, but that's my vote.

I currently run both, X01 on my Switchblade and GX AXS Transmission on the Tallboy. So comparing the two, I'd honestly say they are pretty much at the same level in performance. I have ZERO complaints on the X01 drivetrain, and the GX Transmission, which is newer, also is a very fine performer. Maybe an ever slight advantage to the Transmission for is it's ability to shift under load, although I'm so trained to back off on the pedals, it's almost an unnoticed difference in the two.

Financially X01 is probably the better option. The cassettes and chains last an incredibly long time. Haven't seen wear data from Transmission yet though.

I have been curious about linkglide. But that comes from someone who still feels like 12 speeds is to many for MTB

For daily riding mechanical is my go to, but for racing the Transmission, due to it's ability to shift under high load as someone mentioned above

I decided to stick with X01 mech on my SJ EVO. To me the minor (if any) performance differences of GX Transmission don't outweigh the added weight and cost. I would think that logic applies even more so to an Epic.

Now if I could find a screaming deal on XX /XX SL Transmission, I'd jump on it. But doesn't seem like that's going to happen any time soon.

I did not do crank weights as it is not applicable to E-Bikes, and most people can get along cheaper by just changing the chainring instead of getting the silly looking Transmission cranks..... Anyway my focus is unsprung weight for better rear end tracking. BTW SRAM UDH is ~26g, AXS/Transmission battery is ~24g, both calculated into applicable weights.

X01 on my EE. No need to worry about charging anything other than my Garmin when I'm doing 100 milers.

I currently have a full X01 mechanical. I've been using it for the part three years with no issues.

If I was to get something today...I would go GX AXS with the X01 cassette...and if I can score a deal...I'd get a carbon crank too.
