Odd craigslist post... Ebikes spoiler

hard to find E-bike/ mountain bike spoiler - bicycles - by owner - bike sale - craigslist

In good condition Copper colored can be painted to your favorite color 2ft 6inch the exact size of bike handle bars It came from an auction

This is an odd listing. I assume it is a joke but I don't know what it's intended purpose is. A 30 inch spoiler is too small for any car that would need it.

As of today it's been out there for 28 days and just bout always comes up on the first page. So the seller is actively bumping it to the top

Member has removed content due to fundamental disagreement with this site owner's views favoring expanded access for electric mountain bikes (eMtb) on multiuse singletrack in public lands.

Yeah, this was not what i was thinking when the title said “Spoiler” in the title.

To be honest I’m not sure what I was thinking it would mean. But it wasn’t this.

Apparently they are needed to prevent the bike from lifting off the ground when reaching Mach 1.
Odd indeed!

I'm guessing the seller acquired it & knows nothing about e-bikes but somehow was led to believe this is a thing.
You could contact them & ask!

OMG, I should totally buy this and surreptitiously install it on my kid's Ripmo. We* have this ongoing "Spoiler Alert!" joke going whenever I spot a car with a laughable and totally useless spoiler, I blurt it out. Loudly. He really doesn't appreciate it. At all.

* Full disclosure: by "we," I mean just me. He wants to have nothing to do with it!

Um, is this actually intended for the handle bars? No way. But if so, it's even better! Oh what utter insanity!!! Man, would this be the PERFECT tweaker stocking stuffer for the holidays!!!

I wonder if Gee Atherton’s recent crashes would have been less traumatic if he had these installed? At least the bike can’t tumble sideway.

He is likely the only rider out of all of us that might have a use for it.
