Spent 4 hours raking some of my trails yesterday. Slackline, The Dragon, Big Boulder and the Lower Slackline Traverse are all raked clean.
The downed trees on the Lower Slackline Traverse have been removed.
One root ball hole on The Dragon has been filled in. Still one root ball hole on the Lower Slackline Traverse needs to be filled in.
The downed trees have been cleared from The Dragon.
The Lower Slackine Traverse section from The Dragon to Fall Line is still covered in downed trees. And Fall Line is still buried in fallen trees
from the Snowmageddon snow storm back in March.

Most of the trails are cleared and good to go. But a few trails in the PUC Forest still need work.
If anyone wants to attack Fall Line with a chainsaw - that would be great!
Considering Mondays, starting in October for working on Fall Line. Will be busy until then.

Been getting some help from a few friends on my trails. Will chainsawed the trees on the Lower Slackline Traverse and Corey cut through the trees on the section of the Lower Slackline Traverse from The Dragon to Fall Line. And he started on cutting some of the trees on Fall Line.
Yesterday I raked the Lower Slackline Traverse from The Dragon to Fall Line. Today, I spent 3 hours with my new shovel, digging and re-building the section of Fall Line into the big gully through the root balls of the fallen trees.
The Dragon is riding well. The root ball fill is looking like it's holding up.

Spent 4.5 hours chainsawing the fallen trees off of my Fall Line trail today. Over 20 trees removed from the trail.
Started at the bottom and almost made it to the big gully.
One root ball hole needs to be filled and there is a large root ball in the trail that will have to be shoveled around.
Only about 50 feet of the trail is still buried in trees.

A friend of mine cleared the last of the trees from Fall Line and raked the entire trail.
I went out there yesterday and started digging out the two root balls and filled in one root ball hole as well as
fixed up the drop-in to the big gully.
The trail is now 98% ride-able.
Those two root balls will need some chainsaw work and a bit more digging to fill in some areas.
Fall Line is almost done!

Headed out there today - dug and filled in the trail around the two root balls.
Chainsawed some of the trunks. Sawed through some stragglers on the root ball to make some more room.
The first root ball before the gully is now ride-able.
Filled the holes on the second root ball. One more trunk to chainsaw a line through on the second root ball
is all that's needed to make Fall Line ride-able once again.
A bit more work with the chainsaw to clear up riding space and bit more fill-in is all that's left.
My Fall Line trail is now 99.9% ride-able!

A buddy of mine filled in the tree trunk on the 2nd root ball after the big gully.
My Fall Line trail is now 100% ride-able!
Great work, sir. Which trail is fall line, exactly? Does it start with a couple of big turns? I have tried to ride this trail multiple times in Angwin and I somehow always end up on a different trail called Slackline that isn't really a DH trail at all. Clearly I have no idea where I'm going.

Heading up there tomorrow morning. Is the option to link Angwin with Moore Creek/Dans Wild Ride still a thing? I remember reading in the past this was shut off? Any current intel would be much appreciated.

The key to connecting between Angwin and DWR is Okin Trail, which connects Tick loop to a dirt road that connects to the top of the new section of DWR: Okin Trail, CA - Wilderlist

For some reason it isn't on Trailforks, but the private landowner allows bikes on that trail and I believe that it was built by a mountain bike trail building group. So far as I know, all of this is g2g. The part that's a no-go connects to the old top section of DWR.

Thanks guys. Ive been out to Angwin once previously, took us a while and we got a little bit lost which burned up a bunch of fuel but we hit Blue Post Jamie Cryin and a couple others, dont remember if we hit Teepee or not? But we eventually found the park but at that point running short on time and energy. Hopefully we can find the park a bit quicker this time?
Also have done Dans Wild Ride ages ago as an out and back. I remember it being a fun chill down winder on the way back down.

The new top section of DWR is a little bit more lively than the older trail, and has berms as well as some nice Tahoe-style rock work.

By "the park" do you mean the little DH park at Angwin?
