I am super excited about the new SIDs that were recently released and want to make a Xc marathon bike with a lockout. The frame i was hoping to use was the Epic Evo.
As it is an all day bike, i also want a dropper as well as the lockouts.
I was looking into combo levers and came across a couple different ones.
The first is the scott twinlock lever. The problem with this is nowhere online can i figure out how much cable it pulls for the rear shock. I was hoping someone knew it it will work with the new 3 position Sidluxe.
My Second option would be to use 2p sids and use the bontrager drop lock.
My question is if people can help me clear up which of these levers will work and also if people prefer 3 position lockout over 2p.
Also any other recommendations for integrated remote lockout and dropper levers would be great!
Thanks in advance for your help!

The Scott Twinloc lever can be configured to pull different amounts of cable for the fork using different cams but only works with 3-position shocks and pulls 0, 7, and 14.3 mm of cable for the shock. I suppose it could work for 2-position shocks if your shock can take 14.3 mm of cable pull (or if you can leave some slack) and the middle position doesn't cause problems.

That's awesome information!
The new SIDs/Sidluxe use (I believe) a 14mm cable pull with a 7mm for the middle setting. I bet the 14.3mm is close enough to work. Just wondering, how did you find those numbers?
And if you currently have the twin lock lever with dropper, how does it feel ergonomically?
Thanks again!

Update:
got word from Scott saying that the cable pull for the rear is 0-7-14 meaning it will work with the new Rockshox SIDluxe 3 position and that the fork is adjustable but the stock one will work with the 3 position SIDs and the 2 position 0-10 cam works with the 2 positions SIDS.

According to the Techbook the forks are 0-7-14 mm and the shocks are 0-7-14.3 mm. No idea what the extra 0.3 mm is all about and I haven't measured it. My Twinloc doesn't have the dropper lever.

DT Swiss makes lockout levers that can take a dropper lever as well. They look way more ergonomic than the hot mess that is the current Scott Twinlock setup
Have a look: L3 Remote Lever | DT Swiss
I'm pretty sure that one only pulls 0-5-10 mm so it wouldn't work with the SID 3-position shock.

It really is ridiculous that there can't be agreement on cable pull for lockouts...

Yes! I ended up building an epic 8 pro w a few custom modifications including the Scott twinlock lever and works beautifully with the 3P SIDS. Significantly better than the twist lock.
Awesome. I just built one with a mix of groups and the twistloc does not get along with the XTR brake placement. can you share more details about which version you used? There are a few different ones. Thank you!
