I have had the privilege to own 23 Canfield bikes throughout my years of riding, starting with the Fatty Fat (pic above in thread). It was recently that a Vampire prototype happened to land on my doorstep for me to test and push to it's limits. I have gloriously ridden every variation of Chris's suspension formulas and designs throughout the years but there are simply no limits to this new bike. I can say without a doubt that the future is here and Chris is the one bringing it to us all. I have never been so amazed at how a bike can perform so well in so many different aspects of riding without any compromises. I can only share the fact that I will not need any other bike to do whatever kind of riding, I ever want to do. It's my whole quiver in one simply genius design. Thank you Chris!!!

I have to also thank Craig @ Avalanche! Craig has been instrumental in custom building and tuning all my shocks and forks for all my bikes. This fork pictured is a one-off DHF HK 29r 7.75" for when I want to hit the mountain and get rowdy! He also custom built me a custom one-off, full coil Fox 38 with all the bells and whistles that he has to offer for all my other riding. The suspension matches the brilliance of the bike and allows me to get the full potential of the bike while settling me into an absolute blissful zone of unparalleled riding. On Chris's bike, this is every single ride!

Lucky man! That's a lot o' Canfields!

Nice tease post but obviously we all want more -- more info, more details, more pitchers!

Puh-LEEZ don't just leave us hangin' about the Vampire / whatnot. Are we not your friends?

TIA,
=sParty

So Chris replied to my IG comment a while back that the Vampire frame would be a definite “superenduro” capable.
@SHIVER ME TIMBERS @Funkylicious : since y’all have some time with these, have either of you tried it with a wide range drivetrain and dropper?
Both pics of the black and red bike in this thread have a 28t oval front with a 51t cassette (lots of climbing) and a 180mm dropper (zero tire or body interface @ 6'0"). The pic of the black bike was just taken on an all gnar, climb up, bomb down, climb up, huck down, climb it, huck off, send it, repeat, repeat, repeat, kinda ride, so I went with the dual crown fork for the bigger hits. Still - Absolutely killing the trails up and down. You can definitely call some part of that SuperEnduro, but I can throw on my single crown always do More with a Vampire, depending on what you want to ride.... It's up to you.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!
