has anyone heard any rumours when this will likely come out? and any idea on rough price point?

i desperately want to try it, but not at the current X0 level, in the current climate its hard to justify for most of us, but a trickle down to GX could swing me over.......

how long did GX AXS take to follow on from X01/XX1 axs when that was released?

It’s coming out March 2024 for OEM with AL GX crank. The retail version will be offered for an estimated $1299 October 2024 and includes the new carbon GX crank with a custom die cut piece of grip tape in the lunar colorway to enhance traction when executing the derailleur stand in inclement weather.
cant tell if thats serious or not :/

hopefully the first bit is, although jeez way way over a year to go, i was hoping early 2024 for retail

I find it hard to believe that release would be in 9 months when some manufacturers clearly already have them in their hands just waiting for SRAM to release in order to release their bikes like Commencal and Transition.

Transition already have some GX AXS Transmission builds on their website, they just need to add the pictures.

Small builder like Transition do this to increase traffic to their websites. Everyone is searching for GX transmission, best to be an authority on the topic before the bike rags start talking about it.
That is stretched a little bit...Commencal even released their Meta V5 GX AXS build by mistake.

Doesn't seem like these bikes are only going to be available for summer 2024...

oh wow good info thanks folks - excellent spot and pic above - must be out there already and are just waiting then! good news for us peasants :)

cassette looks a bit cheap and nasty tbh - but id still happily take it if its feasible!

if any one else (shop owners/workers) have any other solid dates/pics keep them coming on here....

Look at the cable port in the frame at the derailleur and the controller cables at the front of the bike, obviously poor Photoshopping. That and the derailleur looks nothing like the GX version’s color or model lettering.
Was just light browsing on phone, assumed it was genuine…..

But yep now looking at the pic more in-depth does look awful photoshop 🤣 the cassette is just a slx one I’d imagine…..

Ah well if anyone with any genuine input can advise with dates etc then appreciated

This is an official photo from Commencal, but I'm pretty sure Commencal are using Photoshop for some of their build pictures.

The unit looks exactly like previously leaked photos of GX AXS T Type, not sure why you're saying it's different.
