I bought one a while ago off amazon, where they advertised 3000 lumen, of course just casually doubling the claimed lumen is off to a good start eh?

I guess I am biased of course, but it's hilariously bad. You get every bit of what you'd expect out of a $30 light, and the lumen output after a few minutes is more like 500-800 because it overheats quickly, even when moving. Beam pattern could be described as..... rough? there? puts light out in roughly the right direction? Because of using big knock-off led's in a small reflector, get a ton of color separation, though ironically not as bad at Trek's "kindbeam" light.

I got curious so I went to some amazon reviews.

"The first is the bad performance of the battery, that only last for a bit over an hour on the lowest setting. " I hope that is not the norm.
Ali express didn't have any real useful comments so we shall see how it actually is haha. I went on a further sale so I got it for $20. It'll probably end up in the bin of all my other Amazon/Ebay cheapo lights after a bit haha.

I own this light and I'm pretty happy with its performance. My only direct comparison is with this light front light FORCE TORCH 2000LM USB, powerbank which costs tripple as much. Runtime is great, 4h on max brightness. I have no mean how to measure lumen output, but the light has enough power for enduro type riding. Durability is still unknown but for the price given I could recommend it.

Good to know! I've charged it up but haven't gotten to really give it a good run at night. One thing I noticed and its probably just my bike is the cables run right in front of it so I'll have to see if that produces any weird shadowing on the trail.

Seems like high beam is too narrow and foreground nearfield/foreground is unnecessary too wide and bright. Bicycles might need slightly higher and wider high beam to avoid hitting owls with your head. Need to compare atleast with Morimoto, JW Speaker. Found some wallshots on aliexpress but can't upload here.

Fenix has one the will do 6000 lumens for 3 hours and a 4000mAh battery, it cost $400.

Ali wouldn't overstate the capability...
Fenix BC35R/BC25R has a wide bright line at the cutoff line but the beam is vertically too wide (Magicshine projector type also vertically too wide) resulting difficulty in aiming without increasing nearfield/foreground intensity.

Cables get below the light, so they won't cast any shadow. I can confirm that it last 4 hours in full.
