" Do I have a Ripley V4 or V4S?

If your Ripley has a Sram UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) it is considered a Ripley V4S. Please note, a number of Matte Braaap Ripley’s shipped with the new swingarm design and UDH. Please verify your derailleur hanger variant before ordering replacement parts. You can use our handy guide to help identify your model"

Stands for sucker because you’re buying the same bike they’ve been making for years for more money, in a bad economy.
Such negativity. Have you been to the grocery store lately? I’m paying a lot more for the same food I have been eating for years as well. Personally I’m not buying the new Ripley but was just curious.

And with a certain set of eyes, Ibis bikes can be had cheaper than before because of the sales that keep popping up. Try going back to early 2022 and getting a discount on a Ripley!

Yeah I am not in the market was just curious. But if I was I would get an older one. I don’t care for the new logo. Much prefer the older logo.

I have both a V4 Ripley and a V2S Ripmo. At first, I was in that camp. Now, after some time has passed, the old logo and badge feels dated and decrepit, and the new logo and branding feels fresh. Odd how perception changes with time and familiarity.
