I didn't know where else to ask this so here it is.
I need a cycle computer for my gravel bike.
I'm a minimalist type who thinks simpler is better; and I highly regard reliability.
I don't need a million types of data in the readout, just total miles and speed.
I suppose wireless is also nice to have.
Price isn't really a concern as I don't think any cycle computer will cost a fortune.
What do you all recommend?
Thank you.

Cycle computer typically require GPS to track miles and speed outdoors. Cheap reliable options include lezyne, Garmin, Bryton. Giant may still sell a model "neostrack" which is a rebranded bryton (I think).
Next price bracket up, You can get one with ANT+ which is a wireless protocol which allows you to connect to speed, cadence, heart rate sensors, etc. Add Wahoo to the above brands.
Getting the data off the cheapest devices is typically done with a PC cable. If you spend more, you can synch via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
You may find a superseded mid-range model cheaper second hand (e.g.) Garmin Edge 510 or 520. But expect that the battery may not hold as much charge.
