fyi, MidPen has closed many of their Preserves:

"MULTIPLE PRESERVE CLOSURES
Due to unsafe weather conditions and road closures, the Skyline Area preserves are closed until travel conditions improve: Coal Creek, El Corte De Madera, Foothills, Long Ridge, Los Trancos, Monte Bello, Purisima Creek, Russian Ridge, Saratoga Gap, Skyline Ridge, Teague Hill, Thornewood, and Windy Hill. Mt. Umunhum Rd in Sierra Azul also remains closed. This alert will be updated when preserves reopen."

Saw multiple cyclists out riding in the snow today. Did not look like fun at all, but I guess this is a once in a lifetime event so gotta make the most of it. JNT is probably covered in trees.

Don’t mind the dirt bike. We were just tree removal services today. Lol

Holy crap...that's not a small amount of snow in that pic. Hopefully the trails dry out for you guys soon.

Super cool photos in this thread. If I was in the area I'd definitely be out there on my bike. Heck, I might ride my bike down the street tomorrow just for fun.

Road around Grant County Park after visiting Lick Observatory! So much fresh snow today. I couldn't venture too far on the trails because the snow was starting to turn into slush, and I was just slipping and sliding. The snow makes me want to get a little fat bike... that I'll use maybe 1-2 times a year lol.

saw someone with what looked like a dirt bike converted for snow, in the back of their truck, on 17 yesterday. Doesn't look like they'd need to go far to play with it.
Something like this, but they had a less burly version: Converting dirt bikes into snow bikes with Timbersled - Motorcycle news, Motorcycle reviews from Malaysia, Asia and the world - BikesRepublic.com

Also, a bunch of people playing in the snow by the side of the road... we were going kayaking, did not stop for the snow that was getting rained on.
