They are not live, but within 30 minutes of the finish, I've watched every World Cup CX race on YouTube.

Do you use a paid VPN? I used to use free Hola VPN and watch my fill of road and CX using links offered at cyclingfans.com. But after a while, the security systems on every device I had would scream at me for having/using Hola. I eventually moved on from using it and coughed up the money to watch the subscription streams.

Oh. I watched them all. On GCN+. It pays to have very good “internet security”. 😉. But it is, as has been pointed out, a little more complicated in some circumstances.

I just don’t see the point of providing a service at full price and then only offering a subset of your total content depending on where you live. And yes. I understand licensing. Still stupid and greedy.

Mitch Docker can MTB. He had a good race at the Otway Odyssey here in Oz. Course has some pretty tech features and some rough descents

You say you understand licensing, but not sure. It means there are legal contracts involved which dictate who can show what where. It isn't greedy, it is just business. I may agree it is stupid. I would prefer if Peacock and Flo just left the US bike racing streaming market and everything went to GCN+. But not there yet.

I believe as more and more of the rights deals expire for the different cable companies, GCN/Eurosport/Discovery will bring more and more of the events in house.

That was the impression I was given by Daniel Lloyd and matches what I'm currently seeing with the addition of races available this year.

I may be being too optimistic, but I hope not.

Yes, race organisers will sell their rights to different broadcasters/ regions around the world, so GCN, Flo Sports, etc Hopefully, GCN can get as much as possible when contracts expire so there is mainly one place to watch everything. That's obviously not a problem with the MTB World Cup as they are the rights holders, as well as broadcasters

I do use a paid VPN, simply because free VPN software is the biggest source of malware. If you do research, you might be able to find a free one that is safe though. My pick is Mozilla VPN, but many people have success with SurfShark (with discount codes is very cheap), ExpressVPN, Nord, etc. Maybe we already know this, but it would probably be worth checking out the what is available in your area page before doing it. I watch lots of road racing so it makes sense for me.

I was pleasantly surprised that my $4.99/mo sub Peacock has Tour Down Under (and many replays from last year or two of big road races). Originally purchased for AMA SX.
Record roadies and watch/FFW next morn with coffee and oats making sure NOT to read online or this forum before.
