I recently bought this bike and went to service the fork as it's losing air. The fork is unlabeled but I believe it's from Rock Shox. I haven't been able to separate the lowers from the stanchions and my question is if the inset bolt changes the servicing of this fork in any way. Any advice is greatly appreciated! TIA.

Once you overcome the need to be gentle, it gives up.
Just make sure you have enough threads engaged to avoid possible thread damage.
