Too much HSC? Interesting. I'll try to follow up with results from the dyno once I get them.

Unfortunately it just snowed a couple more inches last night - instead of more fun on the trails i'll be stuck with Trainer Road.

The low res pressure and over-damped base valve make a lot of sense to me, based on my riding the shock. HSR has to be light enough that you can blend it with the LSR, and the LSR comes reallly slow on these shocks, so yeah, if the HSR is too heavy it'll be impossible to blend the LSR correctly, the packing up would be a bit different than too much HSC, but probably feel similar. For me, it was really the deflection on all the bumps.

After several retunes, I would like to return my Arma. This just isn't working out on my bike. It may well be under-damped on compression and rebound now after lightening the tune several times, but there's something in the transition to high speed compression that just bucks all the time and upsets the chassis on sharp edged bumps/chunk. End result is it just doesn't work like a coil shock in my experience. No hard feelings for you guys trying to work with me, but I have to move in a different direction after many attempts here

Not trying to hijack thread but I sure would like to get this kind of analysis on the ERA’s damper. I’ve always felt the rebound on that fork seems slow and turning the clicker seems to show no effect at all.
