Hi, has anybody protected their fork with RideWrap tailored, that covers about 95% of the fork? I wonder how does it look like when installed. If you can, please share some photos, especially if you have Fox 2021 onwards with new arch. I can't find any photos or videos of forks that have been RideWrapped at all. Many thanks

I wrapped this fork, doubt I'll bother again. I don't understand the decal comment.

i just don't think it's necessary, but i've done it before
I am going to replace decals anyway, so that's not a problem. What fork have you done?

Did you use RideWrap tailored one? Looks good. Does it also cover crown and arch? I am asking cause I am thinking about going with matte on gloss fork

If anybody could share RideWrap on Fox with oval arch it would be great.

That's a tailored one, here's the arch..

Gloss invisiframe is basically invisible on my Lyrik. Like any wrap it will be way more noticeable on matte finishes. It's over 2 years old now and has held up brilliantly (that's a recent pic).

Yes, this is easier to wrap around arch as it got flatter and square surfaces on arch. I have asked RideWrap about it and one answer I got was that it covers the Fox’s arch and other that it does not…

I've never Ride Wrapped a fork. Never saw a reason. I've wrapped a carbon frame before which was a unique experience.

I want to wrap it as I always scratch it badly, always in stupid way, not while riding, but by leaning it against door etc. I am going to keep it in my dad's garage too and he scratched my old bike in few places just by moving stuff around garage. So just doing it for piece of mind. Also I don't think it will give a great protection when crashed anyway.

I wanted to cut the glossy fork, compared to a matte frame. I used matte wrap. I wouldn't bother again.

So the arch in your fork is fully covered with film? Front top etc?
No the Invisiframe doesn’t actually cover the arch. It covers most of the lower legs and the crown. I tried a strip of clear 3M tape on top of the arch where cable ties for a mudguard could rub, but it kept lifting at the edges. I ended up getting Velcro cable ties instead.

After two years I don’t have any scratches on the arch. There are some light swirl marks but that’s it. I think mudguards keep it out of the firing line in most cases.

Looking at the Fox arch I think that would be quite a fiddly job both to design and install a wrap.
