Absolutely don't buy Roost wheels!!!
I bought a wheel set late 2021 and used them for about 7 months. They seem very nice and worked well. One day I nailed a rock on the outside of the rim and the wheel cracked. I've had carbon wheels and frames and have once put a hole in a carbon frame. When the wheel got hit on the outside the wheel cracked all the way through to the center of the wheel as if it was made from aluminum. I'm not sure if the weave was poor or a single direction but the wheel is defiantly not strong. I reached out to the guy running Roost and he offered to send me a crash replacement rim for $250 which I guess is okay. If this was a real company they would have given one for free being it failed when it shouldn't have. I ordered the crash replacement and was told it would be 2 weeks to arrive, well....it's been 4 weeks and still nothing. Maybe they are stuck in customs, maybe it wasn't shipped? I have a usps tracking number but it doesn't say anything but in new york. I asked the owner and he said they were shipped but couldn't offer an explanation. He basically told me to contact usps. Shouldn't he do that and let me know what's going on. He probably can't help me because he's just a middle man to the factory in China. The guy takes your money and then orders a set from the factory and the factory ships it to you, hopefully. Awesome side hustle for him, and a hustle it is. Either way, looks like I'm at a loss and have defiantly learned my lesson.

Here is their website: Roost Wheels - Wide Carbon Wheelsets for Everyone

I'm still busy trying to figure out why people are wasting their time with carbon rims on mountain bikes to begin with, when there are things like the DT EX511 and Spank 395 out there. Strong and reliable as hell, light enough, and a hundy to replace. There is an arse for every seat though.
Most people running carbon rims know what to expect unlike the OP.

When I decided to drop the money on carbon rims, I opted to spend the extra money and get ones with a lifetime warranty. There are several companies out there that offer this, and while they are certainly more expensive, you have the piece of mind of knowing that you’ll never have to buy another rim. Well, that’s the idea at least.

How many other sites did the OP join in an attempt to manipulate the seller of the same Chinese carbon rims that half the planet brands with their own stickers?

The lifetime warranty carbon rims, like the Santa Cruz reserve, are so overbuilt that there's almost no weight savings. However they are also probably more durable than aluminum rims.

That said, nothing is indestructable. Hit a rock hard enough and any wheel will break.

Ran them on my son’s bike to save a bit of weight. At $175 a rim for BTLOS and building my own, if one gets destroyed, I just order another and rebuild.

The rims I just ordered are 150g lighter a side than the DTs, 5mm wider, laterally stiffer and much stronger. Replacement cost is $200. Any impact that would break them, I’d equally expect to trash aluminum.

I've been riding Light Bicycle carbon wheels on 2 bikes for 4 years now. Never had issues, till beginning of this year. I landed on a root on the right side of my rim just right, cracked the rim. My crack looks similar to yours. Maybe too low air? Can't be, I always have the same pressure. It took a month for me to get the replacement. And I paid $200.
I think the point of my story is, Its all how you hit the object.
That being said, I did have Dt Swiss carbon wheels on one bike for 4 years for before, never an issue.
I guess its like, If you by a new car and hit a curb, slash the tire and dent the wheel. The dealer isn't gonna warranty that tire or wheel.

Not all Carbon Wheels are made equal but if you hit it hard enought any carbon wheel will crack if not explode. I would recommend buying a Carbon Wheel with a Lifetime Warranty. I have 2 sets of Nobl Wheels both have had no issues.

Yep. I never destroy rims. Then last year at Northstar hit a rock perfectly on a landing and a huge dent that went through the bead. Threw a tube in and managed to have another rim strike and pop the tire the tire again on another rock further down the trail. It’s not the 999 times you hit it and it is fine, it is that one perfect strike that will destroy them.

Not sure what the OP is so upset about. The company is small and parts take time right now. They offer a crash replacement and honored it, it just takes time to get parts right now.
