My friend Matthew K. And I did the trail design for this new system in Kingman a year and a half ago. Construction should start this fall. The terrain is very cool imho. It has lots of funky boulders surrounding the trails, rolling slick rock with some very steep rollers and one trail is directional and has a large steep slab and armored section that may be rated double black. It’s not a ton of mileage but the terrain is naturally slower and more technical kind of trail and the loops are designed to do multiple hot laps on more technical sections, downhill bits and in multiple directions.

I've done a few rides in the last couple years with a guy from Kingman and they got some good terrain by the looks of it, not crazy big/long, but some good rightfully chunky stuff.

Sweet! I would love to see some trail get built up at Hualapai Mountain Park. I've done lots of moto trials events up there over the last decade and there is so much potential for big granite slab lines. Sounds like they are open to it as well.
That's the word on the street. An epic shuttle ride would really make Kingman a worthy destination.

I hear a lot of the Monolith Gardens trails could use some rerouting. The stuff that's good though is apparently very good or so I've been told. The local riding group does some very solid trail work.

I haven't ridden the trails on the south side of hwy93 except for one enduro stage during an MBAA race but Rattler, Castle Rock, and Sidewinder on the north side are pretty sweet.
