No es .... lea la hoja de especificaciones .... indica claramente un recorrido trasero de 120 mm con cualquier amortiguador montado, Ocho frontal de 100 mm, NO Ocho de 120 mm.

La scalpel ltd con lefty es la ocho con 120mm

Interesting is the trail on the fork, which is 44mm.

Also interesting in EU, the Scalpel SE Limited with Lefty 120 ... a second price increase! (along with all other bikes) Now this bike is almost more expensive than the Scalpel Carbon 1 with HiMod frame. So how does that work? Would I be better of with the Carbon 1 and swapping the shock/lefty ... if I wanted something light and fast for racing.

Who chose the 2021 Cannondale colours?? Pretty barfy across the range, as is some of the writing..

The Scalpel SE Ocho 120mm should be an awesome bike but specced with Sram XO and 25mm ID wheels at that price? Are they serious?

Should have been at least SRAM AXS ....and wider wheels which is the trend...and definitely a different front tire on a down country bike...

Yeah, the color ... wow, and not in a good way. Price increase across the board (2nd time), nothing in stock ... I will gladly take a Lefty 120 mid year ... but it's unlikely to be attached to a Cannondale frame.

Lefty Ocho 120mm has a 50mm offset

remote lock out is an aftermarket option. Can be tuned for firm and open compression settings if using a 2 position remote or just turn the compression lever on the fork leg to set the compression to where you want it

Does anyone haven tips for weight saving on a 2021 Scalpel 3? I'm not going weight weenie about it, and I'm impressed with how light the bike is already. But my son is only 57kg, and for racing saving a bit of weight would be good. Also he has picked up a Fox Transfer dropper off a friend he wants to fit, which will add some weight.

Assuming I don't change the seat post now he has a dropper, I'm thinking the usual culprits of stem/bar and wheels? I don't have a big budget, so high price carbon wheels are not an option!

The stans rims fitted are not the lightest, and I can keep the stock wheels for training and pit spares. I'm thinking a set of handbill wheels, with a light alloy rim, and race tyres will shave some weight. Not much choice on a lefty hub either.

Any suggestions?

The main weight gain areas of the carbon 3 vs the carbon 2 is the alloy Ocho fork, the heavy alloy bars and seat post and the heavy Hollowgram Crank that isn't an Si version. The Ocho and Crank are going to be pricey to upgrade unless you ditch the Ocho for a RS Sid SL
So the weight saving opportunities are rather limited. If you can find 2nd hand SiSL Hollowgram Crank arms for a good price that will drop over 100 grams.

Carbon Ocho loses around 210 grams over the alloy.

The wheels are fine, you're not going to save much weight there so ride them. At your sons weight carbon wheels aren't going to deliver massive performance gains.
