Based on Santa Cruz's lineup and timing of what has been redesigned and when, we should be seeing a new Nomad this year. Heard anything on the rumor mill? I am assuming "it" is at the Andes Pacifico, but havent seen any spy shots on Instagram yet.
Wow that paint is gorgeous![]()
Hmmm...over on Chris Johnston's instagram
While it wouldn't be the first time SC has used the same color on different frames I believe you may be right looking down the the front wheel it doesn't look MTB. That would be a really pretty color though as long as it doesn't look too candy as a whole frame.I think Chris may be trolling the nomad hype mill...

The top tube on Chris' picture looks burlier and there seem to be a cable on the drive side. Also, that would fit nicely with rumours of a kermit green color in the same line as another recently released SC bike.I think Chris may be trolling the nomad hype mill...

It's delayed due to various obvious reasons. It was due to launch this month though.Only one Tuesday left in September...
Not sure about the top tube but there looks to be a gromet on the down tube on the drive side of the Stigmata so that doesn't mean anything. The top tube on Chris' picture looks burlier and there seem to be a cable on the drive side. Yup, I wrote too fast there. Not sure about the top tube but there looks to be a gromet on the down tube on the drive side of the Stigmata so that doesn't mean anything.
A paint job thin enough to see the mold line is a huge improvement in my opinion. The Tallboy 4 I saw stripped had 1/2lb of paint and filler on it. Besides, carbon under a tinted clear coat is cool looking.![]()

I wonder how that thin of a paint job would wear though. The santa cruz paint may be thick but it seems to hold up pretty well to rocks etc. I imagine any rubbing would be down to the carbon quick with just a tinted clear.A paint job thin enough to see the mold line is a huge improvement in my opinion. Nothing new with a CX/Gravel bike having a dropper post. Not sure about the top tube but there looks to be a gromet on the down tube on the drive side of the Stigmata so that doesn't mean anything.
Dude runs his brakes moto style. The housing visible on the right side of the head tube in that pic is his front brake hose.Nothing new with a CX/Gravel bike having a dropper post.
Chris has posted more pictures of the bike. It is his gravel bike. Sorry to get everyone's hopes up. We shall continue to wait patiently (or impatiently).Nothing new with a CX/Gravel bike having a dropper post.
hmmm. All of this conflicting info makes me belive what I told you guys before is true, per SC this years Nomad is discontinued.
