My first time

Taking the digicam on a ride. In the background, a beautiful view of the San Gabriels. Wasn't smart enough that day to check the settings on the camera, resulting in an overexposed waste. Oh well. It was still an awesome ride.

This was taken about a week after our trails were burned to a nice black crisp.
Fire, you call that a fire??? This is a FIRE: 45,000 acres, and it burned over 4 miles of one of the premier xc trails in Idaho. Fisher Creek, which got a write up in Bike magazine a couple of years ago, went up in smoke this last summer, it will be an interesting ride later this year once the snow is gone.

This one...

...because the pic was snapped too early, missing the part where I kept going up and up,did a wallride on the moon, then hucked down to Death Valley with a comet in my pocket and smashed pigeons in my teeth.Ok,not quite.Did land it though :D

Ooh, oooh, ooh. Finally, a photo category at which I can excel! When you do timer shots with a cheap, old P&S camera, you're bound to get a few stinkers. I've got tons. I'll show some restraint and only show you one.

Worst picture...
Racing solo in the 24 Hours of 7 Oaks in Iowa.
Had a gut ache.
Self-induced vomit.
Continue on for the win.

(Yes, I took a picture of it after the race. It makes for great blog content. :D )
You were in a race and you stopped to take a picture of your vomit????

Split my full face helmet and got F(#*@ed up (moderate concussion) in the process, but did walk away. Wish I had it on video to see what went wrong. Lucky my bros were there to help me and snap a few pictures. You want to see some other cool stuff, check out my website.

...Point out why the picture stinks.
Because I climbed all the way up that bad mama, set up the tripod, & the timer, and stood there on a perfectly beautiful and dangerously breezy day, but just short of owning my digital where you'd be able to tell on the spot, I look like a freakin potatohead.

That's what you get for eating what appears to be Spam, or corned beef hash.
