Anybody have any experience sending your fork/shock into these guys to be tuned? I am considering sending my fork to them to have their Runt air spring modification and custom tune done on my 2018 Pike but I can't find much information on them out there on the web. I had an Avy cartridge on my last fork (2015 Pike) and of course that was great, but I wanted to try something different.

I live in Durango where this thing is made. I have one in my Fox 36 and it is unbelievable.
They are top notch and will make sure your suspension is dialed. Everyone I know who is a serious rider here has one and the reviews are all 5 star. They have a review section on their website at the bottom of the RUNT page and there are some guys there who have had good experience with the Pike. Also, there is a code you can enter to save $75 on the install. It is REVALVE Give them a try, you will be surprised at the ride!

That thing is pretty interesting! Although I don't see an option for the pre-2018 Fox 36.

Edit. Ok I understand why now. The only way this (or the SD Components system which is similar) will work is if you get the MRP conversion kit that closes off the hole at the top of the main air piston, and turns your negative chamber into an adjustable one.

Ummm, not sure about that. I've run 3 different forks with the Runt and in each case the Runt replaces the air cap and tokens without any other changes to the air spring.
Compatibility depends on the length of travel along with the diameter and thread pitch of the CSU all of which vary from fork to fork. Currently there are about 6 different Runts produced to cover the various Fork options covered.

Any need to revalve the damper to use the Runt on a Fox 36 Grip2? Seems like a point of interweb contention, and even the Diaz website speaks to it a bit.

This thing really appeals to me.

The 2019 160 Fox 36 G2 with the Runt has been my favorite fork. Running it on my current bike. The Fox fits a longer, higher volume Runt than other forks making it very tunable with air pressure. Usually set up with a 2:1 air pressure ratio between high(Runt chamber) and low(fork airspring). But you can run 10-20 psi higher or lower to dial in mid stroke support and ramp up. I'm currently running 65/120 at about 80kg riding weight. The Grip 2 damper has lots of adjustment so probably won't need much damper revalve, haven't checked the site to see what's recommended.
When in doubt about set up or tuning just give DSD a call.

Actually, having run the Runt AND the MRP ramp control in my Fox 36, I would have to say that the only misleading parts of the graphs on the diazsuspensiondesign website are the parts that are from MRP. The MRP Ramp control does nothing! It is either wide open and feels just like spacers, or "progressively" harsh as you dial it down. There is no small bump compliance or mid stroke support at all when dialed all the way to handle the big hit. The Runt, on the other hand, will give you the whole spectrum, which says to me that the spring rate is in fact linear when using the Runt!

Dammit, these reports of people actually riding the Runt are making my wallet wimper!
