Hi,
I’ve jumped back on the 27.5 + train for loose, rocky and root strewn places. I was riding a trail covered with golf ball->basket ball sized chunky jagged rock and struggled quite a bit. The depths of the debris were around 3-4 inches deep...
When the rock thinned out and things got rootier riding was far easier and the bike smashed..
I’ve searched on the internet for reviews of these tires and came up with nothing in terms of PSI.
What are you guys running for tire pressures in various terrain situations ?
For the rooty/ thinner rock coverage spots I was running 16 F / 17 rear.
The issues I’ve found with plus is when the pressure get lower grip depreciates greatly... there’s a magical sweet spot!
Thanks! 🙏
