Looks awesome! What is the yellow bar on the side of your bike?
It's a dog leash, keeps him safe on roads and sidewalks. I can access several trail heads with a short road ride from home, which is when this comes into play. It can also be used on single track but I rarely use it that way. He can tow me with this too, which is cool! Instead of electric assist I can use K-9 assist :)
This one is called " Running Dog Bike Tow Leash" and I have had it probably 6 yrs now. biketowleash.com for more info

Can you do a decent loop with out touching any bridges or would a ride these days be sorta an out and back type deal?
You need to cross bridges on the Pine Lake Loop, two of which are very broken up but I can still manage to get across. The main trail and the Barrens Extention trail can be ridden. I'm guessing the Pine Lake Loop accounts for ~35 or 40% of total trails.

Gotcha. Appreciate the info as always.

That video makes it look like I know what I'm doing LOL
I remember how bad the deer flies were! In the video they look the size of humming birds LOL near the end when we are approaching the lake!
Bonnie and I have ridden in there to swim and once you stop riding moving around so much they "buzz off" after 10-15 minutes and it's glorious :)

It was just magical riding on the Torrance Barrens today :)

...and btw I was talking with the Muskoka Trails Council last week, and they assured me that the bridges/boardwalks will be replaced this summer. Fingers crossed!!

@BlackCanoeDog:

What make/model of vehicle in the pictures above?

We are in the market for a new vehicle and would like something big enough to put 2 bikes in the back (with or without front wheel attached), but also not ginormous and hard on gas.
